Message I've been offered $9k for my TTZ by a neighbor who was passing by, all of the work done is listed in my profile. It is in good shape, has a few problems, but nothing major. Has good compression numbers and has been well taken care of. I've pulled the engine and replaced anything that needed to be replaced down to the fuel rails/injectors.

I have not had much time to work on the car over the past few years due to completing my masters, but I'm done with that now and was looking forward to working on the car again. I had just spent the past week getting my garage and tools organized to start working on it.

I'm 25, married, no kids, both of us have good stable careers that pay well, big on saving/investing. Had the car since 2002, spent many many hours working on it with my father in his garage. I do not exactly need the money, but it couldn't hurt using it to pay off some low interest car loan debt from my wifes or my daily drivers. I would also consider using it to purchase another rental property (already own 2) since everything is cheap now a days.

I'm battling between my urge to have a nice beautiful Z project car in my garage to work on and have fun driving vs selling it and using the money to further invest or pay down some low interest debt. I'm just looking to hear some other opinions, trying to break this deadlock I'm in. I've been going back and forth now for a few days on this.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Maybe I'm asking this particular question in the wrong place :P
